Design Inspiration
As the city gets hot in summer, the bathing season begins. All the local people of Istanbul migrates to the southern part of the country, visiting their summer house, having long vacations until September arrives.It is always sad to leave summer behind and get back to our school, work and city life. The main target audience of this project was young people, students, new workers. At this festival we were welcoming back all the locals to a new season, and reminding them that the fun still continues! Thus, I was inspired by Istanbul's landmarks, the rush hour, congested buildings, seagulls, ferries and tried to interpret in a cartoony way by illustration.
Target Audience
18 - 40 years old, A-B social class,
university students, new graduates,
young white-collar workers, anyone young or feels young.
